I have made the plans to go on this trip and my children are giving me a very hard time. It seems that since I'm going to be traveling alone, they feel I need a babysitter(??), can't figure out when they became the parent and I became the child. I have tried to assure them there would be other Chris Young fans(family) there and that I would not be on some deserted island alone. Deb the same thing happened to me!!In 2006 I decided to go on Chris' first cruise. I had been visiting with a really nice lady that was here on Chris' message board. Her mother thought she had lost her mind when she planned on going on the cruise with her when we had never met. Turns out we had a great time and I have seen her at a lot of concerts since then and I just got through meeting a friend from Oregon. She came down for a concert and then we went to Oregon for a concert and we are planning to go to two more concerts in November and going to Cancun together so I hope to meet you there. We are also planning on going to fan fest so it is a great way to meet people that are who they say they are. Not that way many other places. You will have a blast in Cancun and have a bunch of new friends too!!

Hey Anita, Look forward to meeting you in Cancun as well. I'm really looking forward to this trip. I took a few trips the first year my husband died, but I have not taken any vacation or time except when parents died 4 years ago. That wasn't time I considered fun time or vacation. So, I'm really looking forward to going some where fun!! I seem to be getting a lot of the same comments about the obsession thing from family and co-workers about Chris. I know what you mean, it isn't obession, it is therapy. I enjoy listening to him sing, he could sing the alphabet song and it would be OK with me, he just has one of those 'Voices' that I was drawn to and I haven't heard anyone in a very long time that I've enjoyed listening too as I do Chris. I've got to do 1 M&G with him and saw him Saturday but it was a rush and no M&G, but I got a huge hug(made it worth standing in the rain)!! I'm look forward to having more of the M&G times as well, those I know you can spend more time talking to him and he doesn't feel like he is being rushed and leaving someone out. Thanks for the encouraging words and I look forward to meeting up with you and hearing from you as well.

I am very close to calling Nancy to book. Had to wait until my friend confirmed that she had gotten her new passport. Now we just gotta find a flight that doesn't get us there super late.

Is there a schedule of events, shows etc? Or do we have to wait to get there to find out all the happenings?

Hi Christina The best thing we could find for a flight was US Airways. We decided to pay the 200.00 per person for the extra night and go in a day early because our flight wouldn't get there till 3:02 pm and we weren't sure what time everything starts and we don't want to miss anything. Being that it is all inclusive it is good to get there as early in the day as possible but none of the flights from the west coast get there early in the day and we didn't want to sit in an airport all night like some of the flights make you do. I hope you are able to work it out to come on this. It will be so much fun!!

I was thinking of doing the same thing. We are coming from two different cities so that will make it even harder. She's in Phoenix so I was going to fly there then go together but if I do that it would be cheaper to just get to Cancun a day early. Nothing I have found from CA arrives before 3:00pm.
